Dear Manoj,

You have narrated a meaningful conversation. I was told, not only the deity, even the entire place where the temple is located has the divine vibration. One should relate with the 5 elements of that place to get the best benefits.

Earth - We walk inside temple without our footwear
Water - We are given Thirtha
Fire - We are shown the Aarti plate and we take the heat to our eyes and forehead
Air - We breathe the atmospheric air of the place
Sky - Of course, after our Dharshan we sit in an open area within the temple place and meditate.

So every pilgrimage has its own worth.

I did not want to see God,
at least for a moment odd

but from me he will not go away
never freeing me from his sway

i scold him, criticism him,
beat him, out i drive him
,
i lock myself in my room,
to be in my own gloom

switching of all lights,
closing my both eyes tight

yet he comes to me unaware
he is there like the unseen air

Do not bother if you find incongruousness in my writ,
take it as a useless tasteless wit

i like different views different languages,
different tresses, different dresses

big and small ,all gurus
live, or stone, all gods

different philos,
different fellows,

not a carbon copies of me or x ,
nor a copied with xerox

and least , least
the copy paste

originality, thy name is spirituality
moment to moment navo navo bhavathi

i like to have the old wine in new bottles
facing life squarely in all battles

That is how valmiki blurted out , involuntarily as a spontaneous impulse, and that became the first poetry in vedic chandas,
vedic chandas originated without his knowing it, , without conforming to any rules
that is how sanskrit words/vocabulary originated , the self seeing and dicting the dict' ionary

Oh, Great. You are simply profound not only in highest wisdom but also in highest knowledge. I mention "highest" because, wisdom and knowledge have come to common use now.

One in his the pure awareness,
is an assemblage of all the rishis, maharishis, devarishis, brahmarishis,
devas, gandharva s kinneras kimpurushas ----simultaneously ---but in different stages of evolution

like a field with all kinds of trees vegetation plants

it's yoga kshethra

it's a internal university, with students, professors, scholars, research students, guides ,
of different faculties and different degrees

so one can be one of these or all of these simultaneously .

Since chethana shravanthi is navo navo bhavathi ='' i am not the same person always.'

yes, i just now now knew why your message is gem , as it's a vedic truth ,
though raja blurted out inadvertently , allowing the atmamaya to speak freely

You are right. I never realized that "I am not the same person always" had such an importance. May be Atmamaya knew and Raja did not.

Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hide---is a good book to see human personality in dissection, i liked it in my earliest days
now i find, author is talking two of navarasas.
personality has 9 moods not one
in one mood he sees some thing
in other mood he sees the same but he sees a different thing even may be contradictory
it's not fickle minded it is seeing the 7 colors in one colorless white
so if one expresses , he may interpret the same in 9 different ways
for this,he may need many awatars
one parabrahma comes in 10 awataras

Swami Vivekananda on Brahmacharya

Swami Vivekananda on Brahmacharya[edit source | editbeta]

  1. "That power comes to him who observes unbroken Brahmacharya for a period of twelve years, with the sole object of realising God I have practiced that kind of Brahmacharya myself, and so a screen has been removed, as it were, from my brain."
  2. "The chaste brain has tremendous energy and gigantic will power. Without chastity there can be no spiritual strength. Continence gives wonderful control over mankind. The spiritual leaders of men have been very continent and this is what gave them power."
  3. "Every boy should be trained to practice absolute Brahmacharya and then, and then alone faith and Shraddha will come. Chastity in thought, word and deed always and in all conditions is what is called Brahmacharya. Unchaste imagination is as bad as unchaste action. The Brahmacharin must be pure in thought, word and deed."
  4. "In order to attain to ideal Brahmacharya one has in the beginning to observe strict rules regarding chastity. For minimum 12 years, one should keep oneself strictly aloof from the least association with the opposite sex as far as possible. When spiritual aspirants are established in the ideal of Sannyasa and brahmacharya, they will be able to mix on an equal footing with worldly men without any harm. But in the beginning 12 years, if they do not keep themself within the barriers of strict rules, they will all go wrong."
  5. "Brahmacharya should be like a burning fire within the veins!"
  6. "Obedience to the Guru without questioning, and strict observance of Brahmacharya — this is the secret of success."
  7. "To be able to realize God, one must practise absolute continence. Sages like Sukadeva are examples of an urdhareta. (A man of unbroken and complete continence.) Their chastity was absolutely unbroken. There is another class, who previously have had discharges of semen but who later on have controlled them. A man controlling the seminal fluid for twelve years develops a special power. He grows a new inner nerve called the nerve of memory. Through that nerve he remembers all, he understands all"."[10]

brahmacharya what is it

brahmacharya what is it

brahmacharya what is it

Leaving aside the individual in question
and one's idiosyncrasy, idiocy ,fancy ,or sycophancy,

one needs to have a clear grasp

on the ideal, on the need, relevance, context,
significance and concept of brahmacharya,
without such a comprehensive grasp on it,
one will miserably turns out to be a failure if not a fool

and wastes his precious life earned after countless births

It is most unfortunate that brahmachari is misunderstood as mere a bachelor,
unmarried, celibate, non-procreating, who is on a vow on controlling the natures urge.

but truly it is none of these,
and one should not use this word loosely without knowing its import truly,
preferably by being a brahmachari himself .
otherwise all kinds of myths assumptions and episode come handy to coin

since,
a ''bachelor'' does not necessarily mean he is pure,
he is just a guy who is not married, legally, socially, formally
but does not automatically mean having no affairs with other gender
---especially in the contemporary context of permissive, provoking inputs ,
visual, audio, food, dress, and unhindered social miscibility,
providing enough chances to fall to any extent

and urge is not an easy matter just to get under mental control with one's wish and will

Also
marriage does not mean a licence, and does not mean opposed to celibacy ,
nor means a bondage
one can be married , and one can be a celibate life long ,
rk and sharada are the noble examples

The truth of brahmacharya is it's a life in brahman consciousness

the brahma charya ashram is the basic foundation for the other three ashrams,
in this first stage, what is taught is --not--- just sex control
or any such superficial dos and donts

but . one is initiated into the process of contacting the brahman
and to sustain that process of contacting the brahman consciousness on regularly and intensively ,
over a few years thru which one becomes so much cultured spontaneously and naturally ,
that all his out going tendencies get turned inward directed
with such a powerful charm of the experience of the bliss of absolute,
that he naturaly becomes averse to any thing less than bliss ,
and natural urge thus gets sublimated granting him superior spiritual, intellectual and physical powers

In this awakened state, one is free to choose the life of his choice,
whether to continue to be unmarried, or get married and beget children ,
to lead a active dynamic life or a secluded life, as per one's inclination

yet, this state of brahmacharya , the ability to live brahman consciousness remains stable
and continues to mature , irrespective of any activity what so ever

gruhastha does not mean, it is impure or fallen from brahman consciousness

no, the basis so strong that never he falls, always goes upward and forward in life's goal of mukthi ,
irrespective of his trade profession way of life likes dislikes

these true significance is not known by even greatest intellectuals,

since they do not know what brahma charya is
since they did not actually learn the way to contact and experience brahman
and living the brahman consciousness in their think talk and walk
