how to overcome hunger i teach, give me a roti

how to overcome hunger i teach, give me a roti

how to overcome hunger i will teach you, give me a roti,
said a great soul

this was a light joke from some elders--i enjoyed in child hood

but not at all a ridicule stuff

but if it is treated as a ridicule, it's reminicent of the harm perpetrated on our rishi sanskrithi,

by the aliens invading the country,

trampling , destroying and defacing the precious values,

education, enlightened approach , the culture the country developped and cherished, preserved thru ages, from ancient sanathana dharma

now by the grace of guru krupa,

i no more laugh at the apparent falacy of the above ,

i am able to see the statement in much more bigger perspective, broader sense and deeper significance, and more universality of its application

आहार-निद्रा-भय-मैथ नं समानमेतत्पशुभिर्नराण ाम्
धर्मो हि तेषामधिको विशेषो धर्मेण हीनाः पशुभिः समानाः

food, sleep, fear and mating, these acts of humans are similar to animals' |
of them (humans), dharma (right conduct) is the only special thing, without dharma humans are also animals ||

yes, man thru learning how, thru guru krupa, raises himself from all the lintations of nature on all animals , thru sidhi sadhana

pathanjali maharishi has shown the way thru his sidhi suthras, in which one is the suthra which when practiced over time intensely , accomplishes the sidhi of over coming the hunger and thirst.

and it must be learnt under expert guru.

also all the above limitations can be overcome by appropriate sadhana in all its intricate detail it is not a thing to be read for information , much less entertainment

a young sanyasi under training to achieve the sidhi of overcoming hunger and thirst, ,with instructions from guru to be truthful , used to beg food as a tradition .

others ridiculed, but he did his sadhana, did learn the art and attain the mastery over them eventually.
but those who scoffed remained , to get the ridicule themselves for the foolish haste in concluding the above as falacy

this remains no more a falacy for us, if we understand a few situations more similarly
1 a sincere student takes loan, joins college, earns sholarship, comes out as a professional shows how one can become prosperous

2 a farmer begs for seeds, gets abundant yield, stands as anna datha

3 krishna takes broken rice from sudama, grants wealth

4 we offer naivedya and get the aishwarya in turn, god is not poor, not hungry

5 bank says put your savngs and earn interest

6 a seed has to be planted , to get the sweet friuts basketful

what is wrong in this?

should we ridicule?

or learn the subtle message that

KRUSHI THO NAASTHI DURBHIKSHAM...MEHNATH KA PHAL MEETTHAA HOTHA HAI

krushi, sadhana can transform one ordinary soul into a great rishi.

yes to acieve some thing one has to invest a little in the beginning, and reap the abundance of benefits
